Oak City Clicks is a social photography club centered on learning, creativity, and making new connections. The 2026 season is intentionally low-pressure and community-focused, designed to help members grow their photography skills while getting to know one another through shared creative experiences.

Membership is free and open to all, regardless of experience level. Participants may use any type of camera, including phones, mirrorless, DSLR, or film. A private member roster will be maintained for communication and coordination. Each monthly assignment will include a brief, approachable photography lesson introducing a technique or concept members can try at their own pace, paired with a creative theme.

There will be no formal judging. Instead, each assignment will feature a Members’ Choice winner selected by participant vote, keeping the emphasis on encouragement, learning, and conversation rather than competition. Meet-ups will remain relaxed and social, focused on sharing work, discussing techniques, and building friendships.
