Kick off the new season of Oak City Clicks with breakfast over photography, conversation, and community.
This opening meet-and-greet is designed for both returning members and first-time participants. We’ll introduce this year’s photography curriculum, review the full calendar of lessons and workshops, and discuss how monthly assignments, group photo walks, and Members’ Choice voting will work throughout the season.
Unlike previous years, this season places a stronger focus on photography fundamentals and creative camera control — including composition, perspective, aperture, shutter speed, and available light photography. Members are encouraged to bring cameras that allow for manual or semi-manual control, though photographers of all experience levels are welcome.
We’ll also spend time getting to know one another by sharing:
Photography interests and experience
Favorite subjects to shoot
Camera gear and lenses
Creative goals for the season
Whether you’re brand new to photography or looking to sharpen your skills alongside other local creatives, this is a great opportunity to connect with Raleigh-area photographers in a welcoming and social environment.
Bring your camera, your curiosity, and your favorite photography stories as we launch a new season of Oak City Clicks together.
